THE WATCH NEVER ENDS

A National Child-Safety Awareness Journey

April 1–30, 2027 | Yuba City, California → Terre Haute, Indiana

The Watch Never Ends is a proposed month-long public-awareness journey led by Children Such as These. It is being planned to bring communities together around one responsibility: recognizing danger, sharing verified information, and refusing to look away when a child needs help.

THE PURPOSE

Children can be harmed through abuse, exploitation, trafficking, abduction, online grooming, and other forms of victimization. The 2027 Watch is intended to create informed conversations about prevention, recognition, reporting, missing children, and the people and organizations already working to protect them.

The journey is not a rescue operation, an investigative service, or a substitute for law enforcement, emergency services, or qualified child-welfare professionals.

THE WORKING ROUTE

The planned corridor begins in the Yuba-Sutter region and concludes in Terre Haute. Communities may be invited to host brief Watch stops, educational conversations, or public gatherings along the way.

The route, dates, transportation modes, stops, and events remain subject to change. Final movement plans must account for weather, health, road conditions, permits, local public-safety guidance, accessibility, and community confirmation.

HOW COMMUNITIES CAN TAKE PART

  • Request information about a possible community Watch stop
  • Share verified child-safety and missing-child resources
  • Invite local law enforcement, child-welfare professionals, educators, advocates, faith communities, parents, and responsible organizations into the conversation
  • Follow and share confirmed journey updates
  • Volunteer for clearly defined support needs as they are announced

CSAT will not claim a partnership, endorsement, event, tribal participation, or agency commitment until it has been directly confirmed.

RESPECT FOR NATIVE NATIONS

The journey will seek to listen respectfully to Native Nations and Native-led organizations along the route. Participation will never be assumed, and any public description of involvement must be confirmed by the Nation or organization concerned.

STAND THE WATCH

You do not need to travel the full route to take part. Learn, share carefully sourced information, attend a confirmed stop, or help your community recognize when and how to act.
