BEYOND “STRANGER DANGER”
MYTH: Child trafficking and exploitation usually begin with a stranger physically kidnapping a child.
REALITY: Nonfamily abductions account for about 1% of missing-child cases reported to NCMEC. In 2025, 92% of missing-child cases reported to NCMEC involved children who had run away—young people who can face heightened risks of exploitation, trafficking, substance exposure, and violence.
What adults should teach: Help children recognize grooming, secrecy, manipulation, unsafe online contact, boundary violations, and attempts to isolate them—not only “stranger danger.”

A proposed national child-protection awareness journey from Yuba City, California, to Terre Haute, Indiana. The journey is intended to connect communities, elevate responsible education, honor children and families, and invite people across America to stand the Watch. Dates, route, and participation remain subject to confirmation and safety review.

Sacred Horse Ranch is currently in planning and feasibility. It is not an operating residential, clinical, counseling, or equine-therapy program. Development would require qualified partners, appropriate licensing, safeguarding standards, funding, and independent professional review.
