OUR MISSION
Children Such as These (CSAT) is a faith-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit that equips families, professionals, and communities with verified child-safety information, practical education, missing-child awareness, and meaningful ways to act. We help adults recognize danger, respond responsibly, and protect children without sensationalizing victims or interfering with official investigations.
WHAT WE DO
• Publish The Daily Watch.
• Keep verified missing-child cases visible through Where Are They?
• Elevate Native-focused awareness and Native-led resources through Native Children Watch.
• Provide prevention and reporting guidance.
• Engage professionals, advocates, faith communities, and child-serving organizations.
WHAT WE ARE BUILDING
The Watch Never Ends is a national child-protection awareness journey scheduled for April 1–30, 2027. Sacred Horse Ranch is a proposed future initiative currently in planning and feasibility—not an operating residential or clinical program.

A LIFE SHAPED BY SERVICE AND PURPOSE
I understand what it means to carry wounds people cannot see. I experienced abuse as a child and know the fear, shame, and silence that can surround it. Later, as a police officer, military service member, husband, and father, I devoted my life to protecting others while carrying my own history privately.
More than 30 years in law enforcement and 22 years of military service taught me the importance of preparation, accountability, and acting when others are vulnerable. Children Such as These grew from those lessons, my faith, and the conviction that experience should be turned into responsible service.
WHY I FOUNDED CSAT
I founded Children Such as These to help adults become better informed, give missing children continued visibility, strengthen child-safety education, and bring families, professionals, advocates, faith communities, and organizations into a shared commitment to protect children.
THE ROAD AHEAD
On April 1, 2027, I will begin The Watch Never Ends, a national child-protection awareness journey from Yuba City, California, to Terre Haute, Indiana. The journey will invite communities across America to learn, participate, and stand the Watch.
A MESSAGE FROM JEFF
Protecting children does not require every person to carry a badge. It requires informed adults who notice, respond responsibly, use the proper channels, and refuse to look away.
I am a survivor, husband, father, veteran, retired law-enforcement officer, and a man of faith. I believe even the darkest chapters of our lives can be turned toward purpose.
